ABOUT SELINA HILL COPYWRITER
I could use this page to share cutesy anecdotes about my childhood dreams of becoming a writer, reveal my favourite ice cream flavour, or regale you with stories of what I get up to in my spare time. But none of that’s going to help your copywriting project.
So, let’s focus on the stuff that might actually make a difference…
I’ve been a professional copywriter for the past 18 years
While writing skills aren’t sharpened by longevity alone, being in the copywriting game for almost two decades sure has taught me a lot about what works. And even more about what doesn’t. Luckily, you’ll get the benefit of both.
I’m trusted by the ‘big players’
From government agencies to global corporations, I’ve been handed the proverbial pen by some pretty major clients. Turns out they’re no different to the smaller guys – but having their shiny logos to display as ‘street cred’ is always nice.
I come with real-world business experience
My journey from broke freelancer to six-figure business owner certainly wasn’t easy. But the valuable lessons I’ve learnt along the way – in sales, marketing and everything in between – mean I bring a whole lot more than just words to the table.
I’m really good at what I do
Look, there are plenty of things I suck at. Parallel parking, keeping my houseplants alive…the list goes on. But writing seriously awesome content? It’s basically my superpower.
And I can do it all (way) better than AI
No awkward robotic phrases or generic GPT content here. As an actual person, I come with all kinds of benefits that AI lacks – like creative flair, rich life experience, and genuine human insight.
Believe me, your copy will turn out so much better because of it.
Oh, and in case you were wondering…
I’ve wanted to be a writer ever since I won my first short story competition aged six, the best ice cream flavour is Ben and Jerry’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie (if you disagree, you’re wrong), and when I’m not working you’ll usually find me in my local garden centre, buying plants I will sadly but inevitably destroy.
