BRIEF
Help Australian consumers reduce their energy usage and save on power bills by providing practical tips and advice on energy use in the home.
APPROACH
An online portal called eWise would form a central repository, providing information on household energy usage, neighbourhood comparison reports, energy saving tips, and personal home efficiency plans.
Database of tips: A series of 50 energy saving tips was created, with multiple versions for use on the web portal, email newsletters, and report documents. The straightforward, easy-to-implement advice covered everything from efficient use of computers to minimising energy loss while cooking.
Launch materials: An engaging welcome letter was sent to thousands of selected homes across Australia, highlighting the benefits of the program and encouraging participation.
